Our
hometown: Henry, Illinois |
 |
 |
|
Location:
Henry, Illinois, "The Best Town In Illinois By A Dam Site,"
is nestled in the heart of the Illinois River Valley. Trees and
hills abound in an area often misconceived as flat prairieland.
This picturesque, river town is conveniently located at the intersection
of Route 29 & 18, 30 minutes from Peoria (south) and LaSalle-Peru
(north).
The area is 15 minutes from Interstate 80 (north) and Interstate
39 (east), which makes Henry only 2 hours from Chicago, Bloomington-Normal,
the Quad Cities, and Rockford.
In addition to this, a proposed Chicago to Peoria interstate may
someday pass through or near the Henry area.
